The Matilde di Canossa Golf Club, which was founded in 1987, is situated just outside the city in the heart of the marvellous “Matildic Lands”. The spectacular setting offers magnificent views of an area that is full of history and tradition. In this charming context, now restored to its former magnificence, the club was set up thanks to the founding members’ love for nature, passion for golf and spirit of enterprise. The course, designed by the architect Marco Croze, has 18 holes on a course of over 6,200 metres, par 72, and is characterised by a huge variety of configurations, due above all to the Quaresimo Stream that flows
through the entire course. The gentle natural slopes and vegetation make the game technical, fascinating and extremely entertaining. The course is surrounded by enchanting panoramic views, offering an exciting sense of freedom and direct contact with nature.
